Morning! Another hot one. They can change this weather pattern any time.

I cannot stand this heat. Need to put my John Dee "Think Snow" sticker on the car. Give me early spring or late fall weather anytime.

Another sleepless humid night...Atleast the Tigers continue to heat up the baseball world!!!

Congrats Deb, no one deserves the Early Bird more then you.

its pretty cool down here in wisconsin...88 at noon..60% humidity...so a rather pleasant day :)
Its only supposed to hit 94 or so here along Lake Michigan.

My daughter lives in Phoenix...its HOT !!!! sizzling down there...and she says the humidity is getting higher all the time..so many people, grass and plants now growing...watering the lawn and all that stuff...but still nowhere like in the Midwest....its 91 right now with 35% humidity...so not much different right now, but its been in the 110+ range

The humidity down here was pretty low yesterday 19-35 % depending on location with temperature from mid 90s to low 100s.

You northerners are going to MELT !!!!:)

3. Let's look into the life of our UP friends - ya.
Sven, Ole and their Upper Pennisula friends go into a pet store.
The owner comes over and asks if he can help them. "Yah sure, ve'll takefour of dem dere little budgies in dat cage up dere." says Sven.
The owner puts the budgies in a paper bag. Ole and Sven pay for the birds,leave the shop and get into Sven's pick-up and drive to the top of some big cliffs near Two Harbors. At the cliffs, Sven looks down at the 1000 foot drop and says, "Dis looks like a grand place." He takes two birds out of the bag, puts them on his shoulders and jumps off the cliff. Ole watches as Sven falls all the way to the bottom, killing himself dead.
Looking down at the remains of his best pal, Ole shakes his head and says: "By yumpin' yiminy, dis budgie jumping is too dangerous for me."

4. VAIT!!! Dere's MORE!

Moments later Knute who's been to the pet shop too, arrives at the cliffs. He walks up to the edge of the cliff carrying another paper bag and a shotgun. "Hey, Ole. Vatch dis." Knute says. He takes a parrot from the bag and throws himself over the edge of the cliff. Ole watches as half way down, Knute takes the gun and shoots the parrot and continues to plummet down and down until he hits the bottom and breaks every bone in his body. Ole shakes his head and says, "And I'm never trying dat parrotshooting either."

5. BUT VAIT!!! Dere's MORE, you betcha!!

Ole is just getting over the shock of losing two friends when Lars appears. He's also been to the pet shop and is carrying a paper bag and pulls out a chicken. Lars grasps the chicken by the legs, holds it over his head, and hurls himself off the cliff and disappears down and down and hits a rock and breaks his spine.
Once more Ole shakes his head...."First der was Sven with his budgie jumping, den Knute parrotshooting.,.and now Lars hengliding.

Tom, those are groaners for sure. Aaarrrrggghhhhh

I posted awhile back about buying firewood in St.Ignace area. I know that it cant be brought across the bridge. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can buy more then just those little bundles they sell at the gas stations?

I think that calendar of Angels of Downs Syndrome is a great idea. They are children, only they have a medical condition that makes them sometimes look different. I read the post about it a little while ago but now it's gone. I agree that all children should be part of a calendar if you are going to have one.
