Eight years ago, the Oak House bar in Calumet came tumblin' down. It was located across from the post office. The blue roof next door belongs to the Keweenaw Co-op gas station.

There's a really nice new building where the building above was removed. Does anybody have any shots of it in their Guest ablum?

I worked with Bob Forsberg who owned the Oak Room in the 60's..He had great stories of the Keweenaw characters back then ..

It was the Oak Room, not the Oak House.

I thought it was The Town Pump or The Oak Room most of its life.
