If you're at all familiar with Lake Superior, you know she's a lake of many moods. It's not very often that the Big Lake decides to lie down, with only a ripple or a gentle rolling wave like Roger Kangas recently witnessed. Even rarer is the second shot snapped by Paul Roberts, who relayed that it was "pretty wild, seeing Lake Superior that calm". What I'd give for a day of kayaking when the water is so smooth.

I like the pictures of Lake Superior. Sometimes the Atlantic Ocean is as calm as the 2nd picture and then it reminds me of the Great Lakes.
Glad we can post again...I felt like a kid sent to timeout.
