Thank you!
Yup,Agate Beach and Rockhouse Point it is. Earlier this day I was walking on the little spot of beach near the mouth of the Big Elm River when I suddenly sank to my calves. My boots were filling with soft muck as I struggled to pull out, muttering "Oh no! How am I gonna 'splain running home with bare tootsies?!"
When I finally yanked free and climbed to the bank,Paco's whine changed to a wag and we were good to go.
In the first picture I was in front of the ice bank, standing on the beach, fully aware that the sand isn't as stable as it is in summer, while she is delivering the sermon,"Have you learned NOTHING from the stress and strain you caused a mere 30 minutes ago?! GET OVER HERE!" Paco is 11 people-years old now,so I should respect the fact that she is too old to baby-sit. From now on I will practice what I preach;Always listen to your dog!

Rockhouse Point is an awesome place to visit .....the Zman and I went there last summer. We camped at Agate Beach. I just loved it had a great time. We are going to do it again this summer with our two dogs again!! They also had a great time. The house that use to be on Rockhouse Point was built by one of my friends grandfather. It was a beautiful day when we went there.
