Morning everybody! OOOOHHHH is it cold. I think it's about 20 below with the wind chills. THAT is when I hate winter! My poor son at UND has 17 below actual. Imagine adding wind chills to that. Hope he bundles up. Have a great day!

Good morning everyone :) Having a wonderful time, catching up with my daughter...and sorta kinda trying to catch up on my paperwork ;) Had hoped we would have gotten some of that snow storm that Iowa was sending our way...but the snow headed up to Wisconsin and Michigan...and all we were left with, was the rain. Sigh.

Just got back from town...where the temperature was 59 degrees. Is this winter...or spring?

Sur5er, there maybe some cold coming your way. We have pouring rain, thunder, but 40 miles north of us it is turning to ice. I will see if I can't push the coming cold front from SW Michigan, your way. High of 18 predicted for Saturday.

Thanks guys for the reciepe for pasty crust...I am sure everybody will being saying thanks after Sunday. This will be my first attempt to make them on my own...yes there is a fire house down the road ha ha .

Here in Oakland county we are getting hammered with rain, sleet and 40-50mph winds...good thing I was raised in the u.p. I have training on how to sit out a storm. The people down here get so up tight about the smallest storm, I wish they could see the storms the yoopers get.

The thunderstorms made it through Mishawaka, IN about an hour ago. Temperatures are on the way down. Has fallen 20 degrees since 6:00. They're calling for a high of 25 or so. Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be cold also.

Thanks Llamamama...some cooler temps would be greatly appreciated :) They had tornado warnings/watches in north western Indiana, this afternoon. In February?
I was looking at the weather map for Michigan...and like you said, some of the counties were actually split in half...with some getting rain...and the other part of the county getting snow. Definately some strange weather, eh.

You guys and your ------ fancy snow dance after you've had a couple of drinks! You forget what to dance for! Fog, rain, lotsa snow, thunder, lightning, freezing rain, high winds, no electricity, high temps, low temps. 55° in Detroit, and at the same time 31° here 60 miles away.
Oh! I forgot, this is Michigan isn't it???
