The weather station is in our back yard. That is where the NWS placed and marked it with GPS. We don't do barometric readings. Just measure the rain and snowfall daily, snowfall depth on the ground, record the temperature at the rime of the readings. In the spring the NWS will call and ask for readings of the amount of water content in the snow. I guess that is used for gauging flood conditions or something to that effect. That one the boys have to do as I don't have the arm strength. It's been interesting.
