Liz Siivola had a beautiful morning surprise with new blooms on her Tiger Lily plant this week, along with her Yellow Gerbera Daisy blooming all over the place, too. She said little things like this make her happy, as she’s not been real successful at growing flowers. It looks like all that is changing for her now, as her flowers are gorgeous. And when I asked permission to share her photos, she was glad to share them, saying she’s happy that her photos can bring others joy! So enjoy the mini tour of Liz’s garden, it’s almost as good as being there in her yard, seeing them in person, especially that close-up of the Tiger Lily, that’s something else.
We’re going on a summer forest walk with the Woodsy Introverts. We’ll check their trail cam and answer the question they often get as to whether they encounter wild animals while they’re walking their trails in the summer. Let’s just say the forest is very busy, as you’ll see from their trail cam footage.

These are great! I love flowers and I especially live tiger lilies. I really miss mine. I have the yellow gerbera and the red gerbera. They are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your flowers.

Gorgeous flowers....
Thank the Lord the Keweenaw is saving so much wild...we need a place for our critters. I wish they would tear down all the blighted areas across the country and reuse the areas, and leave our critters someplace to call HOME!

My Tiger Lilys disappeared weeks ago. I do have some new Mums though. And my deer keep eating the Geraniums! Some years they eat the purple Hostas blooms, some years they don't, Hmmm.
Great video. I've never tried poking a hole in the burgers. Gonna try it. I've seen placing an ice cube in the middle but I always just keep smashing them down to keep them flat.

It is nice to see the flowers still blooming UP there after ours have been gone so long. We have had the deer eat the hostas down to nubs and they love the tulip flowers. Not sure about the lilies.

Jbuck, they have eaten our lilies. We have to spray the hostas and other plants that they will eat.

D A., it's deer and rabbit repellant by liquid fence. It has eggs, garlic and thyme oil. It just reeks!!
