The local area has had quite a few Christmas events in the past week. Copper Harbor held their annual Christmas Lighting and had the Donny Kilpela Memorial Park lit up quite brightly. Marcy Bessolo Hermanson was there and snapped a few pictures for those of us who didn’t make it to the Harbor to see it all in person. It seems like the entire town is aglow for this event each year, it would be fun to count how many lights there are shining in the park. They could make a game of it and have a contest to see who guesses closest. Marcy captured a shot of the fireworks quite nicely, too. What a festive way to kick off the week before Christmas!
2nd Sandbar Productions shares a video from the Copper Harbor Christmas Lights back in 2019, including a look inside the Community building where folks were buying and selling locally made items. Plenty of holiday cheer to go around!
****** Merry Christmas Eve! ******
