Hall Farms in Rock, MI didn’t start out to be a Sunflower Farm, they originally raised dairy cattle, but then decided to grow crops instead, which eventually ended up being Sunflowers for the seed to feed birds and also corn for the deer. It morphed into folks wanting to get graduation photos taken among the flowers, then engagement photos and that prompted them to open the farm to the public and the attraction was born.
Tanya Etelamaki recently made a visit there and snapped some fun photos of the family enjoying the Sunflowers and photo opportunities. The Minion hay bales are my favorite, but all of them show the enjoyment to be had with a visit to the Hall Farms. Unfortunately, it’s a short window for the life of the Sunflowers, so the farm is closed for the season now. Nice to be able to still enjoy it with these photos today!
Brian and Heather Outdoors share a video of their visit to the Hall Farms earlier. It shows the vastness of the Sunflower field quite well.

Phenomenal. Ever watch a sunflower? It wakes up smiling at the sunrise and goes to sleep smiling at the sunset...their little heads move all day...it's phenomenal....and everyone loves these. Deer, turkeys, raccoons, squirrels, chippies, skunks...fed them all~
