There’s always a healthy competition playing hockey among Brita Haapala’s kids, both big and small. With the nice weather we had this past weekend, they were out in the back yard on their frozen pond skating and scoring. The kids get twice the exercise, because first they have to maintain the pond ice and keep it clear of snow for skating. And just look at the cute little cheerleader in the purple jacket! She looks like she’s enjoying cheering her siblings on for the game. I’m sure Mom was helping her cheer between snapping photos, too. You can check out more of Brita’s photography on her Facebook page, just click here: Brita Caroline Photography.
We’re heading to Escanaba for today’s video, for some Mites to Men Pond Hockey. Even the hockey Mom’s get in on the action!.

I use to like to skate under the old wood bridge at Palmer Park and get up close to the lighthouse. It was a lot of fun.
