Six years ago, in 2013 the Pasty Cam shared a photo taken by Emma Stout, who had gone out on the snow-covered ice in front of their home and spelled out Pasty.com. What a neat idea and the cloud cover made for optimum viewing and photo taking, too.

Then in 2014, Lindsay Fortin snapped a photo on the property where we work (one of my other jobs) in Calumet. She wanted to show the folks in our company that work in southern Wisconsin, what kind of snow we deal with here UP North on a daily basis. At this point that year, we had had 222” of snow, with 44” on the ground. The piles towering over my head were blown there by the maintenance man when clearing the sidewalks for the tenants. According to the Snow Thermometer, this year we’re at 176” in Keweenaw county and around 40” on the ground right now.

Today’s video was published by ExploreM123 and highlights the Tahquamenon Scenic Byway, which is a 63-mile journey through Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
