We begin our archive look for today, in 2000, with a shot from Daryl Laitila, showcasing one of the snow covered, Victorian Architecture homes in Laurium. They don’t build them like this anymore.
Heading over to Houghton with Olivia Bartlett in 2003 for our next archive photo. The lights at night make Sheldon Avenue magical looking. What a unique perspective, heightwise. Do you think she climbed up one of those street lights to take this shot?
In 2015, Chad Johnson put up a beauty of a Christmas tree. Chad said it was 10 feet tall and he special ordered from a local seller so it would fit perfectly in the bay window of his historic ancestor’s home. It fit beautifully with his décor, too.
Finally, we travel back to Houghton again, with UP Adventures for a lofty winter look around the area.

Everyone probably has heard this for years, but Ron Jolly played it on WTCM this morning and it was the first time for me:

Nice pix and video! It's strange seeing that much snow when we have hardly seen a flake in SE-MI and there is none in the forecast.
