It always surprises me when looking through the archives, that often the theme of photos that have appeared on a particular day are repeated throughout the years, like today’s photos of people’s pups. Back in 2000, Bill Leonard shared a photo of Bear, relaxing with some good looking mittens to warm his paws at the Einerlei in Chassell (which has been closed for a few years now).
Rob Wetton captured this shot of a smaller pup in 2001, busily checking out what’s happening outside. Quite the festive looking photo with the colorful Christmas lights illuminating things for the pup to see better.
Then in 2009, Paige Wiard lined up her four-legged friends out in the snow for a Christmas pose. Well behaved pups, to let her dress them up and then to sit so pretty for a photo-op.
Judy Byykkonen did the same thing with her “girls” recently, with hats and a jingle bell scarf. Judy said she promises Milk Bone treats so they will sit for her and the Scottie doesn’t like the jingle bell on her scarf, so she won’t move until it’s taken off. Funny how our pets can act sulky when they don’t want to cooperate, too.
If you have pets in your home and are having problems keeping them away from the decorations and tree, today’s video has some tips to help with that.

Xmas has finally gone to the dogs.
"Here dawg, come on dawg, me and dawg want you to go to Telegraph road, right now, git a good deal."
(classic Ray Whitfield Ford jingle)
