One of my personal favorite photos from the Pasty Cam archives was taken by David Antikainen back in 2004, a lofty view of Cliff drive above the intersection at Phoenix. And recently we had a video, into which we jump again, that shows the *opposite* view of this scene. Over the years David has shared so many great photos of the U.P., there could be a calendar dedicated to his work.
Speaking of Calendars, the 2019 Pasty Cam Color Calendar is still available, though it might not reach its destination before Christmas if you ordered one today... but it's a try.
Hope your holiday preparations are going well. Have a good week :o)

Very Nice! "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills," (Psalm 121)

I've always loved that 2004 shot "View of the Cliffs". It's so very raw and powerful, forbidding yet welcoming at the same time.

I agree with all the comments about the Cliffs picture. The lighting, the clouds, the detail in the trees, even the tracks along the road, all interact to make it a fascinating picture.
