We start out Friday's archive review aboard the USS Kearsarge with Chris Koskiniemi and his family, in 2004. Located along US41/M26 in Kearsarge, this stone boat is a popular spot for folks to photograph, both with kids and without.
In 2006, Tom Cook shared some Cold Duck with us. If it wasn't for the bright orange legs and feet of this Mallard, you might not even notice him there in the midst of that snowy backdrop. It looks like he might be checking himself out in the reflection of the water.
Copper Harbor always makes an event of their lighting up the park for Christmas and back in 2011, Steve Brimm was on hand to snap a photo once the lights were turned on. Their Christmas Tree Lighting is an annual event in the Harbor.
Looks like there are some beautiful, bright displays of lights in the Norway, MI area. Sit back and enjoy the ride around town to check them out.

Good morning, D.A., check your email for a Pasty Central Gift Certificate to redeem in 2019, our thank you for alerting us to the glitch with Friday's Pasty Cam update.
We've been doing these daily glimpses of life daily since March 1 1998, and even though Mary had Friday's content ready bright and early Friday, yours truly didn't realize the final mouse click was missing, until D.A.'s reminder at 3:07 this morning. Thanks again, D.A., and enjoy a pasty feast on us :o)

Thanks for the update Charlie! So glad it wasn't something drastic.

Speaking of pasties, there was a piece on the local news this morning about pasties. Someone made a traditional pasty, but they added refried beans and topped it with salsa sauce and a dollop of sour cream...looked pretty tasty, Senior Charles.

Glad to help Charlie and thanks for the nod. The D.A. family will now have a great pasty celebration in the New Year.
Better to be asleep at just the mouse than some other more dangerous device. So glad it was nothing more serious.
BTW, that Mallard in 2006 looks like he's sitting on the snout of a wolf. And the snow mound to the right looks more like a one eared Snoopy the beagle.
