With shoreline on both Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, sprawling across almost a million acres of the U.P., the Hiawatha National Forest is probably best known as a summer get-a-way. But here on the Pasty Cam, we've shared all seasons of Hiawatha. Brenda Leigh took us there in December 2014, and more recently Ryan Peterson visited the western footprint of Hiawatha - and brought back today's video. What a cozy cabin to spend some time on a cold and windy Sunday in the U.P. According to the weather report, looks like it's that way across much of the U.S.
Nice Review, and good looking cabin!! I was surprised to see the full bathroom in there! :)

Nice video! The cabin that we went to when I was young was in the Hiawatha, on Sand Lake. Brenda Lodge (named after the owner's Golden Retriever) was the name back then, now it's called "Hiawatha Lodge". "And in my mind I still need a place to go, All my changes were there." (Neil Young)
