There are many things that remind people of the U.P. and we have a few archive shots to illustrate some of them. One of the biggest reminders would have to be Lake Superior. Back in 2003, George Hite shared a photo of a choppy Eagle Harbor. The combination of the waves and the clouds sure makes for a dramatic shot!
The next example comes from Mike Schneider who actually found an Autumn leaf with a U.P. map in it. He was just in his backyard photographing leaves and found this Yooper one in the midst of all the rest. Pretty cool.
Our last reminder of the U.P. is from Bob Gilreath in 2014. He and his wife took a drive to the Greenland area and stopped in at the Adventure Mine for some explorations. Check out the color surrounding the buildings there. Mining in color!
And we round out today with a video from the Adventure Mine in Greenland. It was a TV6 Live segment on their morning show from earlier this year. Get ready for a mining tour!

Vicki Crystal has been on TV6 in Marquette for many years. I think I recall hearing her voice on the radio as well back in my NMU days.
