Charlie here, filling in for Mary while she's visiting across the pond.
Recalling some relaxing scenes at the water's edge... and a lofty view of the massive dock in Marquette Harbor. Do you have a favorite dock in the U.P.?

My favorite dock just happens to be the ones pictured in 2001 which sure looks like Tobin Harbor on Isle Royale.

My favorite dock is the one I am on, wherever that is.

My favorite dock is the LS&I one at the Island in Marquette. It's a wonderful old working dock. Nice to watch the ore boats come and go.

On sand Lake, off of M-94, 2-3 miles south of Shingleton, MI. If you look it up on Google maps, satellite view...zoom in and you will see the patio dock on south shore, west of the point. "All my changes were there." (Neil Young)

Nice pic's and video! I guess my favorite dock would be in the Marina at Lac La Belle, having been there using it for so many years. The video is very cool, nice to see the development in the lower harbor of my second home.

Interesting how the chutes were numbered with odd numbers on one side and even numbers on the other!

Don't know about a favourite dock, but I'd sure love to have that boat in the 2009 photo...

Oh, and favorite dock...... have to say the one at Alden, Michigan, where my great grandfather settled and my grandfather was raised.
