Back in 2003 Bill Fink captured the gentle wake along the misty journey of the Ranger III on its way to Isle Royale. Later that year it was immortalized in the 2004 Pasty Cam Color Calendar. (BTW, the 2019 calendar is coming soon :) Years passed, and along came Tiger Holm with this mini-documentary of the Ranger's return from the island. Not too many trips remaining for the big boat this season, as the island begins buttoning up for winter, and all the tourists come home. Finally, all the workers come home. May and September are amazing months of change here in the U.P.
