Here we are once again at the end of another month, just about the end of summer, too, with school starting up next week around here. We continue our long-standing tradition of setting aside this last day of the month to remember those of our friends and family that have gone on before us. Today we recall:

Mollie Tibbetts and Jake Wilson, rest in peace.

Aretha Franklin was buried yesterday at Woodlawn cemetery in Detroit, a cemetery that I used guard years ago when I was a security guard.

A cemetery needing security guards? Strange.......

Gotta add Verne Isaacson...she was so wonderful!
