Five years ago Deb Simons took us on a photo tour of the Breakers. We're back in the area today, where Mortons-on-the-Move give us a closer video look. All of these scenes we are revisiting each day bring back so many memories... we could probably write a book, with a chapter for each month, as we have adventured around this unique spot on planet earth known as the U.P.

The past week saw a lot of fireworks and celebration. The work continues in the aftermath of the flooding from a couple of weeks ago. Hope your summer is off to a good start.

Very nice...I remember driving the Wing out that way years ago. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Well, that brought back memories! I remember
going out there as a kid, and there'd always be
a softball game going. It's so peaceful out
there. I think a trip back is called for. The
video was nice. I hear that water is just
freezing this year. Seems strange to me because
I've been in the water for a couple of hours as
a time, even as late as a few years ago. But
the last few years it just always feels so cold.
Maybe this year will be the lucky year and the
waves will be coming up and tearing up the
bottom, making it more than swimmable.
