It’s another critter day on the Pasty Cam. Our variety of animals start with a shot snapped on Isle Royale, by Kevin Henriksen in 2008. It looks like he was standing right in front of this little guy, but in reality he was a distance away and a telephoto lens did the zooming in.
In 2012, Mike Schneider was at Presque Isle Park in Marquette, when he heard something rustling in the garbage can. He situated himself nearby the garbage can and waited. Before you know it, out pops this little raccoon.
Another chance encounter happened in 2013, when my son, Al Drew had this little fawn dash across the road in front of him. Thank goodness he was able to stop in plenty of time and quick enough to snap a picture as it went on its way.
Just recently, Donna MacIntosh had a visitor in her Baraga backyard and she brought her baby along with her. Donna had plenty of turkeys visiting her backyard feeders during the winter months, so perhaps this is one that remembered it’s a safe place and often has a good lunch, too.
We’re heading to the DeYoung Family Zoo for our video excursion today. Enjoy watching a little boy bottle feed a fawn there at the Zoo. Fun stuff!

The news is showing us that a lot of people are ignoring the obvious.....God has given us two ears and one tongue which means we should listen twice as much as we talk.

That little boy must have thought the fawn's mom was very tall! Feeding the fawns would be fun to do but then i'd want to adopt it and we know that isn't allowed!

Nice critterix pix and I've really grown fawned of that video, despite the fact I'm lactose intolerant.
