This weekend on the way to the Straits from the Copper Country, it was our pleasure to pass through Lake Superior's "Queen City", Marquette. Today's video popped up, from Craig Belapedio, with a pleasant overview of the town our family lived in, back in the mid 70's.
What a hot weekend this has turned out to be. Currently in Southeast Michigan for a weekend, wishing we were back in the Keweenaw. Lord willing, we will be in time for Copper Harbor fireworks on the 4th.
Have a good week :o)

Marquette was a city my Dad took us to back in the 60's when we went "Up North" for summer vacation. Sand Lake, south of Shingleton was "Up North" for me.

The people who are hardest to convince they're ready for retirement.. are children at bedtime!
