The archives held some real beauties today. Sky scenes that are outstanding. Starting off with one that Dan Urbanski took in 2000 of a lightening storm crackling over Lake Superior. Even though lightning can be dangerous, it still holds beauty in those flashes when they aren’t causing damage.

We move ahead just a couple years to 2002, in Bootjack with Robert C. Wetton (RIP), who snapped this beautiful sunset from the shores of his camp out there. Exceptional beauty with the color bordering the cloud bank and the horizon.

The bottom shot appeared on the Pasty Cam in 2015, photographed by Jeremy Rowe of Keweenaw Night Sky Photography. He snapped this in Eagle River, with the Northern Lights reflecting in the river as it flowed to meet Lake Superior. So much beauty in the midst of the night!

To continue the Aurora Borealis view, we have a video from Dawn Gunnari. She says, The Best Place To See The Aurora Is In The U.P. By Lake Superior”. I’d have to agree with her!

Very nice! That video took me back to a concert in the 70s at Cobo Hall, man. Or was it last week...pass it over to me.

The first picture of the lightning over the lake is outstanding. There was a time I would sit on my deck and watch it for hours.

Now you guys are bringing back old memories although some of them are a bit vague, LOL. A friend who worked at a Detroit radio station got us back stage passes in the early 70's to a YES concert in Ann Arbor.
