Can you believe this winter? Even as this is being typed, a "nor-easter" is slamming the eastern US, and the UP continues to have single digit temps, with no sign of winter going away any time soon.

Our shots from the past reveal it's not the first time winter has held on so relentlessly. And the video tour through Calumet is an excellent glimpse of the conditions.

Congratulations again to the lucky pasty eater at last Thursday's feast out at the airport, who enjoyed our one millionth pasty served at the Clean Snowmobile Challenge event.

I could be mistaken but it looked to me like the dog was on a leash.
