It's Christmas Day in the past 19 years of archive photos and of course here today, too. We look back through the years to photos we previously shared on this day, beginning with one that Jon Hopper snapped of the Phoenix Church back in 2000, all decked out with decorations for the season. Another beautiful "Christmas Card" type scene.
Patti Gerbig shared a Christmas scene in 2009, with the fireplace glowing, the stockings hung with care and the tree lit brightly. Perhaps it was taken the night before Christmas, since the stockings are empty and the presents aren't yet under the tree.
Did you know there's a town called Christmas here in the U.P.? It's located on M28 between Marquette and Munising and it's really Christmas there all year long. This postcard photo appeared on the Pasty Cam Shoebox Memory in 2011, courtesy of 9teen87spostcards, which changed its webpage name to MyFavoritePostCards since then.
Our special Christmas treat today, is a video of a 10 year old young lady from Lake Linden, singing Hallelujah at her church, the First United Methodist in Hancock. Her name is Rose and she is the daughter of Jeff and Chris Dennis. What a beautiful voice and such a brave young girl to get up in front of the congregation like that to sing by herself with only the piano accompanying her. Merry Christmas from Rose, her family and the Pasty Central crew, too!

Merry Christmas to all of my friends in pasty land. I haven't been on much this last month with losing my mother in law. We're even more busy than normal Decembers but I think about all of you. I hope you have a great day with family and remember the reason for the season. Love the hallelujah song. So cute!

Very good! It's so nice to be able to believe without fear from persecution. Happy Holidays to the men and women who keep us free and safe.

Looking at the Copper Country weather forecast for today and beyond, all I can say is … Se alkaa näyttää kuin joulua! (It is beginning to look like Christmas!)
With that, this seems to be an appropriate Christmas greeting for y'all in Pastyland:
Hauskaa joulua ja Onnellista Uutta Vuotta! One more: Joulu rauhaa. (Christmas peace) Doesn't it seem like Sunday today?? My 2nd Christmas without Mimi. I praise GOD for Jesus being the reason for the season! We need what HE did for us on that cross! Amen.

Mele Kalikimaka to all in PastyLand (yes, I just returned from Hawaii...).
Question; will there be a 2018 Pasty Cam Calendar this year?
