All but 2 of today's 19 years in review has the common theme of: snow. Wonder how many times that will happen before next Spring :) ? John Dee's 2000 fuzzy snow tree, and Mary Drew's 2007 glimpse of Lake Linden cleanup seemed most dramatic to me.
National weather reports show bad weather moving back in, after a long stretch that has allowed us to get a lot of outside work done the last couple of weeks. Today's video is a great time-lapse of what happens when that happens. More snow, coming right up.
Wow! 48 hours! That's amazing! That first picture is absolutely gorgeous! The snow bank in 2007 brings back memories for sure.
Bad weather is moving in out here in MN also. We're in Duluth for the weekend so we are hoping for some nasty winds to get the lake rolling.

Funny how the little canine was no longer seen after the snow started to get really deep!
Be careful out there Deb!

I like how you can see the snow level slightly reducing just before dawn as it compresses under its own weight.
Here in northern Illinois it's been in the 60's. Supposed to finally get some snow next weekend.
