It never ceases to amaze me, each and every year, how the colors can change so quickly and brighten everything here UP North with brilliant colors. If we could only bottle it to make it last longer. Oh wait…we can! Well, not exactly "bottling" it, but Pasty Camming it is even better! Our first "Camming" is from 2005, snapped by Dale Odgers. The dredge in Mason has a fame all its own and is more often the attraction in this little town, but WOW…the colors in this photo are now taking center stage.
Our next "Camming" comes to us from Marsha Galbraith, in 2014. She was over near Three Lakes and captured this reflection on Beaufort Lake of a virtual wall of color times two!
Jean Dessellier is the next "Cammist", snapping the third photo last year, in 2016. She found the colors exploding in the Traprock Valley area near Lake Linden. Her photo has just about all the fall colors you can find…yellow, orange, red and still some green in there to even things out.
The colors this year are just as beautiful and Sara Huuki is here to show us that. She captured this scene, with her son taking it all in on top of Mt. Bohemia just two days ago. The sea of colors down below is nothing short of amazing to behold.
We're going to complete our color tour today by taking a walk in the U.P. woods with Cameron Malott, back in 2015. Pay close attention, you're not only going to see fall colors, but a few of the inhabitants of those woods, too.

Excellent video today. The contrast between the intricate close-up beauty and the expansive panorama are compelling. Cameron truly captured the feel of the Autumn U.P.

What awesome autumn pictures. And that video was wonderful. So many of the screen shots reminded me of the covered road to Freda. And loved seeing the wildlife also. Thanks for the great start to the day!
