Several notable locations around the Keweenaw today - Gull Rock, Estivant Pines, the old Dredge... followed by a flyover encircling the entire peninsula, from its base at the Lift Bridge, to its tip at Manitou Island.
We are so grateful to all of the photographers over the years who have contributed glimpses of life in the U.P. from their points of view. It's a wonderful place to live, and we don't take its beauty and history for granted. By the way, our tradition continues this week here at Pasty Central, as packages of those delicious U.P. Pasties resume shipment this week. Getting a little later start this year because of weather complications. Pasties away!
An amazing video, what a treat! Thanks for the ride along and thanks for posting it, Charlie.

Great photos and a wonderful video. I'm sure I will never get to do a flyover like that myself so thanks for posting the video. It always makes my day to visit Pasty.com.

Superb fly over. Looked like a shot of the Roger Blough. I loved the brief shots of the submerged shoals along the shore lines and also the close up of east Manitou Island lighthouse.
How are the fall colors looking? Will the peak be on schedule?
