Throughout the past years on the Pasty Cam, starting with the year 2001, we've thought of and remembered those that lost their lives on 9/11 and we pray for those that survived. Rob Wetton shared the first photo here today on that tragic day.
Then in 2007, Pete Sidwell shared an Eagle Harbor glow in the clearing fog. Charlie mentioned back on this day, with Pete's photo, that whenever we see a rainbow it's reminiscent of the first one mentioned in Genesis 9, a sign of hope after an awful catastrophe.
In 2012, we shared a photo from Eric Stewart, taken in Eagle Harbor with the waves rolling in, turmoil on Lake Superior as we remembered the turmoil of that day, eleven years earlier.
It seems like weather photos have been the theme since that tragic day, now sixteen years ago. Our video today is from Lake Superior Photo, giving us a time-lapse look at an isolated thunderstorm over Lake Superior. Fitting as we remember those gone and pray for those that are still suffering from the storms of 9/11.

All great pictures and the video was awesome. There's nothing like watching a thunderstorm, providing it does no damage!!!

Enjoyed the pictures this morning. The video brought back memories. When I worked on the island I lost countless hours of sleep while I was sitting on my deck watching the lightning over the lake. Mother Nature provided some pretty awesome light shows.
