The 30th of July has seen kids in 5 or 6 of the past 19 years of the Pasty Cam. The U.P. is certainly a place that invites you to explore.

The Pure Michigan spots that have aired over the past decade has visited many of the places our kids explore, and the short audio clip above is on the Keweenaw. When Pure Michigan first began its campaign 11 years ago, I thought the voice was that of Cliff Robertson, and when he passed away and spots kept coming, I realized the voice is that of Tim Allen. Here's a little side video on Tim Allen's take about the promotional project.

I hope you and your family and friends are able to enjoy some of that Pure Upper Michigan this summer. And for those in other parts of the country who can't make it, we are just little more than a month away from being able to send you a little taste of the U.P. at dinner. Pasty shipments should begin again - weather permitting - right after Labor Day.

Love that Tim Allen is such a huge supporter of
Michigan. Also loved the video. And the pictures
are great, as always. The 2nd picture shows my
cousin's grandchildren enjoying the firetruck. I
remember when that first appeared here.
