You can imagine what the majority of the photos were on this day throughout the past 19 years of the Pasty Cam. All things celebrating Independence Day…fireworks, parades and flags. We start today in 2005, where Misty Bond had captured the fireworks over Houghton lighting up everything around them.

Then in 2004, Chuck Voelker shared a 1913 photo from his webpage: Copper Country Reflections. It was taken in Calumet with a parade marching past the Mining headquarters, flags waving proudly as the band plays a tune.

No 4th of July is complete without a photo of Old Glory. Today's shot is courtesy of Donna MacIntosh, who snapped it recently in Baraga. I like the way she framed the flag with the foliage.

If you missed the fireworks this year, don't despair... today's video is a nice review of the Lake Linden Fireworks back in 2015, complete with the Grand Finale. Enjoy the show!
