I would like to mention the loss of Rev. Gerdeau formerly of Trinity Episcopal Church in Houghton. He presided at my mother's funeral in 1974. He had a brilliant mind. I remember him talking to my father, Wally , and explaining to him why a private ceremony for Lynn was not a good idea. He laid out the reasons so simply and logically my dad had to agree to have a public funeral. Rev Gerdeau was from New York and passed away there. but he served such small parishes as Sidnaw. He truly served the church. In New York he was an assistant to the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. That was his true calling I believe. Let Jesus guide you now ,Paul.
