The Pasty Cam Archives are filled with people, little people, big people, all kinds of people just enjoying what the U.P. has to offer. Today we look way back to one of the early years, 1999, where we see a family enjoying the Eagle Harbor Marina. It's more than just a marina, though, it's a great photo op site and a great place to picnic and explore Superior's shores. The U.S. Coast Guard Life Saving Station and Museum is also located there and reopens for the 2017 season on June 11th. Click here for their schedule, along with the other Keweenaw County Historical Museums: KCHS Schedule and hours.
Another relaxing pastime folks enjoy here in the Keweenaw, is pictured in the second shot snapped by Brian Rendel back in 2003. I'm not certain what river this gentleman is fishing, but it sure is a picturesque scene, depicting any and most good fishing spots around the area. Grab a pole and get the line wet!
So much to do here outdoors UP North, that's for sure. And if you're creative like "Grandpa Davey" (Davey Poisson), you keep the kiddos amused with creative ideas like the one he had recently to make a four-wheeler caravan. Krista Poirer captured the fun to share with us here today. I'm sure these boys will remember this for many years to come. Everyone needs a "Grandpa Davey" in their life!
If you never get enough of the Keweenaw, then today's video will be right up your alley. It's a 4 minute montage of the Keweenaw Peninsula, from Caleb Andrews. Sunshine, water, skipping rocks and people living the life... it doesn't get any better than this!

Springtime/summertime sledding...good way to get the kids out of the house.
'See you soon.'

Nice pix and an excellent video...one of the best so far. The motorcycles brought back fond memories.
