The signature food of the U.P.: the Pasty. Pasty Central has been honored to ship almost 1 million of these since that first package in 1996. In addition we are cruising our way through year number 20 of the Pasty Cam, our daily glimpse of life in the U.P. In a slight departure from our "short video" format, today we bring this entire Upper Peninsula episode of "Under the Radar", a series you might see on a number of Public TV stations in Michigan. Our host Tom Daldin takes us to several east-end attractions, finishing up at Muldoon's Pasties in Munising. You may recall last year when Pasty Central was named "Best Pasty in Michigan", Muldoon's was the runner-up, and I must say from personal experience, they do make a mighty fine pasty.

By the way, this week will be your final opportunity before the summer break to order pasties from Pasty Central for FedEx delivery. The early summer-heat has prompted us to suspend orders after the first Monday and Tuesday of June. The order calendar will be updated later today.
