How the months have flown over this winter. It was last April when we said goodbye to wife, mother, sister, cousin, friend, Edie Hopper, laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery just outside of Eagle River. Today's sunset is one that she and I enjoyed for 28 years, the sunset we would watch outside our bedroom window. In 2001 our son Jonathan took a snapshot of it, and it became the April memorial photo that year.

For all who have recently lost a loved one, our heartfelt sympathy is yours, and we welcome your addition to this month's list of remembrance.

my great-grandparents, my grandparents, my parents, two brothers and my uncle. My uncle who took us to a lot of places in Michigan and Canada, to fish, snowmobile and hunt, which I would not go hunting.....:O)

Remembering Aunt Margie ~ seems impossible it has been 10 years since she passed on.

Charlie, What a beautiful view to see from your
window so often. I'm sure it makes you think of
the many wonderful memories you had with Edie. You
must miss her terribly, but I'm sure she is with
you in spirit.

Remembering my mother Adeline Leinonen who passed away nineteen years this month. We think of her so often and we will always miss her.

JoAnne Racette....someone with such a beautiful,
beautiful soul. She shared her knowledge, her
wisdom, and her love. She will be missed. May the
Creator cradle her loved ones gently.

Thinking about you, Charlie. That first year is so
hard after the death of a loved one. So many
"firsts" to suffer through. Hoping your pain
lessens a little with time, though we know it never
completely goes away.

Sad to see Glenn's name in this month's review. He
was a great classmate of mine for many years. He
was a very quiet person but always so very nice. My
condolences to his close friends and family.
