Cathy McKenzie and friends, took advantage of one of our sunny days last week for a snowshoe trek to Hunter's Point Park in Copper Harbor. Breathtaking views were what these ladies enjoyed, some looking at the Harbor itself and some from the outside of Hunter's Point, along Superior's shore.

We sure are lucky to live in such a diverse area here in the Keweenaw that we can enjoy the small town life and not be far from the beauty of one of the most beautiful Great Lakes. It's wonderful when folks like Cathy head out on adventures and take us all along through the lens of their camera.

Looks like a great adventure you girls were on. Thanks for taking us along. Hopefully you can enjoy another warm day outing soon. Snowshoes are not my preferred mode of transportation though. It is easier for me to fly than to walk on them.
