Backyard feeders attract a variety of visitors, which Melody Provost Holmes shows us from her Norway backyard. She starts off with a bunny and a squirrel, which I'm not quite sure whether they're friends or if they're having a standoff for the seeds on the ground. It seems like the deer she captured is watching to see what happens there, too.
She then progresses from the furry critters, to the feathered ones, including a tired turkey, a busy Pileated Woodpecker and a brightly colored Blue Jay. Feeding and watching the animals and birds is a fun past time during the winter months. Their antics are usually amusing and can bring a smile any day!

Looney Tune pix! Face-off poses the question: "Are you my Mother?" Unlikely dinner pals poses the proclamation: "Well, I'm not going into that one."

Wildlife at it's best. The pileated woodpecker and the snowy owl are my favorite birds that aren't water fowl birds. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite between those two. Co-favorites, that will settle it. Thanks for sharing.
