When the Keweenaw continues to get dumped on with inches upon inches, upon feet of snow, our roofs get buried underneath the heavy weight of that white stuff. Time to shovel that burden off the roof before it causes damage.
Judy Byykkonen just had her roof cleared off by her son and grandson and it looks like it was quite the job with the snow a good foot and a half to two feet deep. My favorite of today's shots, is the last one showing Dad and Son teaming up to push that last big load of snow off the garage roof together. It's hard work, but if you make it fun like that, it doesn't seem like such a job.

Let's see...first we clear the driveway, then we clear the roof, then we clear the driveway again. I vote that from now on, snow falls UP. (falls UP?)

And then after all the work of clearing the roof there's that little thing about cleaning off the driveway! Great job!!

Look's like brilliant minds are thinking alike this morning. :-)

That looks like enough raw material to build at least a thousand snowmen.

Ha! But yours is the only brilliant mind Alex! I just type too slow!
What, no pictures of anyone jumping off the roof into the snow you just cleared off?

You guys better get your eyes checked. That driveway hasn't been plowed out yet from the most recent snow. :-)
I was thinking the same thing jbuck. Why didn't they jump off the roof? Maybe they did though and Judy just didn't get a picture. Or maybe she climbed up there and jumped off with them.
