Even though Barb Bouwkamp isn't out at their Big Traverse camp as much in the winter, she still enjoys a jaunt there to check out what's happening on her shoreline.
These photos from a few days back show that everything has turned white, but there was still some beach sand showing. With the cold temps and continued snowing and blowing over the weekend, this shoreline may look different already, but how neat it was on that clear day, to see the Huron Mountains off in the distance over Lake Superior.
It looks like it wasn't the easiest trek down to the beach for Barb, either. Before you know it, she may need snowshoes to get to the shore's edge, if she can even find it once the ice starts building UP.

Hi Beautiful, snowy, scenes.
It is interesting how the terms for "vacation place up north", camp or cabin, are applied to buildings that are sometimes bigger & fancier than you would think of when you heard "camp".

Great pictures of Mister Winter. I enjoy the pictures showing the white, brown and blue. I'm still clinging to warmer times.
