Today we welcome a new Pasty Camist, Reece White. This young photographer is in the sixth grade and is only 11 years old, yet he snaps photos with the eye of someone older and more experienced behind the lens. He captured these snowy scenes this past Thursday, with his friends on a trail near his home here UP North.
I love how he included his buddies in the first shot and the bridge coming up on the trail in the second shot, but didn't make them the main focus of the photos, rather just a blip in the midst of all the snow that had fallen around them.
Then in the third photo, Reece gets closer to the trees to show the heavy snow accumulated on the branches, yet far enough back to get the perspective of pine branches looking like fingers of snow, along with the rest of the tree branches bending down under the weight of the white stuff. Yes, this young man definitely has an eye for photography. Hopefully we'll see more of his work in the future.

Nice time to go walking thru the woods.... looking for critter trails and enjoying the beautiful scenes. And you don't even need snowshoes yet!

Enchanting pix...I wonder how many branches were hit to knock snow on each other.

Great pictures of an early winter snow. Thanks for taking us along on your walk in the woods. I like the picture of the bridge.
