Today we get a glimpse of the Big Traverse/Mink Farm/Schoolcraft Township park area from Jean Dessellier, who headed out for a drive that way on Saturday. Somewhat rare for the Copper Country, to take a ride towards the end of November and find no snow, but that's exactly what Jean found out near Traverse.
I'm actually OK with that for now. It's still cold and the last few mornings have left an icy sheet on my windshield, but it's been awfully nice not having to brush off the vehicles and shovel the driveway. That will be here soon enough, so for now, yes, I'm just enjoying the slower than usual start to winter.

Nice pictures, made doubly nice when the ground is not white. I am in concert with Mary, snow is for polar bears and penquins. I've always said. "I hope the snow keeps up, then it won't come down."

Pretty pix! Oh no, it looks like the base of that bridge is made out of Tootsie Rolls. I feel a like a Chunky.

The snow brings income for those who rely on snowmobilers and skiers who patronage their place of business. Restaurants, hotels/motels to name a few.
