Happy Thanksgiving! We truly do have so many things to be thankful for, they don't have to be BIG things, but should also include the little things in life. So today, as you take the time to study the photos here, also pause to think about the blessings in your life.
Sharon Bodenus snapped the first two photos and while I like the crashing Lake Superior wave on the Marquette Harbor break wall, my favorite of the two is the top photo. Just a dusting of snow on the shoreline grasses and a thin layer of almost clear ice on the small lake behind where she lives. Beautiful, but also chilly looking, too. Be sure you head over to Sharon's Facebook Photography group page for a look at more of her work: Upper Peninsula Photography-Sharon Bodenus.
The last two photos come to us from Paulette Aho over in the White Pine area. She had these turkeys strutting around in her back yard. Pretty neat to see the Tom all puffed out and displaying his finest attire for the camera. He's probably quite thankful himself, to have survived another Thanksgiving holiday and still be here to gobble about it. Hope you enjoy your turkey day, too!

Hoping everyone had a nice T-Day! I'm off to the health club to burn off some fat. Did I say "some fat"?
