If you tuned in to the Pasty Cam last Thursday, November 3rd, Taana Kalliainen took us on a walk along the Houghton Waterfront. Well, she's back today with updated photos from just about the same vantage points, only this time the leaves are mostly gone. Granted, without all the color, it may not be as pretty, but it's still a great view and a wonderful place to get some exercise, walking, running, roller blading or riding your bike.
Along the way, Taana stopped to capture her shadow on the trail. When I first looked at this shot, I thought it was snow on trail and then I realized she had presented this shot in black and white. Of course that white stuff isn't too far off now and when that happens, the Houghton Waterfront trail then becomes a snowmobile trail for winter months. I wonder where Taana will take us walking then?

Quite the difference when the leaves are gone! But each season has it's own beauty. Thanks Taana!

The beauty is replaced by bleak. It didn't even take a week. Thanks for the comparison. A startling difference.

Mimi and I celebrated our 15th anniversary on Mon. Nov. 1, 2016. I lost her on Thur. the 4th from a massive heart attack. What a lonesome house this now. I went to Marquette for an 18 month cardiac appointment today and I was half way home when I realized she wasn't there to hear my good news.
