Sharon Bodenus always manages to find so much beauty to photograph and today is no exception. She was on the Marquette waterfront taking a break from running errands, when it started to rain. No big deal normally, but then this beautiful rainbow appeared over Lake Superior putting Sharon in the bonus for sure. That second shot is neat with a great view of the double rainbow.

Then on another excursion to Marquette, Sharon captured the sunrise over the Big Lake. What a perfect scene with the sky pinking up and the Lake foaming around the rocks on shore. Definitely a great way to start the day!

Beautiful--the first and third pictures would qualify for the WOW picture library.

In the second picture, it looks like the person in the shot is steps away from the end of the rainbow and about to get the pot of gold. ;>)
