Some months seem to go by so quickly and before you know it, we're once again at the end of the month. Our long time tradition is to pause on this day and honor those that have gone on before us. Today we remember:
Terry Baillargeon Ethan Chartre Steven Chartre Charles (Chuck) Erickson Keith Karvonen David Massoglia Paul Perreault Servicemen and women who have given their all
We extend our deepest sympathy to all who have lost a loved one or friend and invite you to add the names of anyone you would like to also remember here on these pages.
Special thanks to Sara Beth Huuki for the beautiful sunrise photo with which to honor our dear departed.

Now my mother, Dolores Carson, would have sat rapt in admiration at that sunset, only for her it was always Sun Rise, a new day to explore. She died eight years ago October 30, age almost-92-going-on-30. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her, and if I could choose anyone to come back for one last conversation it would be her.

Our 27 year old nephew Ramon Anthony Aurea left this world on October 19, following a lengthy struggle with cancer. Before his illness, he was a dedicated professional nurse, giving supportive care to all those in need. Ramon attended patients with kindness and comfort, whether they were close relatives or complete strangers.
Our son, his 18 year old cousin Ian, contributed Deborah Garcia Gaitan's poem "Don't Cry For Me" at his memorial service. We hope that others find comfort in it as well.
Don't cry for me, I will be okay. Heaven is my home now, and this is where I'll stay.
Don't cry for me, I'm where I belong. I want you to be happy and try to stay strong.
Don't cry for me, it was just my time. But I will see you someday on the other side.
Don't cry for me, I am not alone. The angels are with me to welcome me home.
Don't cry for me, for I have no fear. All my pain is gone, and Jesus took my tears.
Don't cry for me, this is not the end. I'll be waiting here for you, when we meet again.

Remembering my Mom, Betty Boorman, 10/10/2005, and my brother, Rod Boorman, 10/01/2011. They both left on beautiful Fall days and their internment services were equally stunning Lake Superior October days at Pine Groove Cemetery, Eagle Harbor, MI. With Love Always

Thinking of my twin second cousins, George and Charles, who were born on Halloween. They are both gone now, but this holiday is always about them.
Happy All Hallow's Eve, Pasty Camers!
