Jeff Dennis and family took advantage of the Mt. Ripley ski lift fall tour ride a week or so ago and it looks like they picked the perfect day. The Portage Lake Lift Bridge is always a favorite, but surround it in the glory of Autumn here in the Copper Country and oh boy, what a treat!

Getting a great shot of his kids with the bridge in the background was definitely a bonus, preserving the memory for the kids to look back on in years to come. I really like the photo of the two of them riding the ski lift that day. I'm guessing the lift was moving and Dad must have been in the chair in front of them…sure hope he was holding on while snapping that shot.

With my fear of heights, it's unlikely I'd ever take that ride up or
down Mt. Ripley, but it certainly is a beautiful view from up there.
