A couple of day's ago I went up to Mt. Horace Greeley late at night, to check out a power glitch affecting Internet service out here on the peninsula where we live. On the way up the hill, suddenly the car was pelted by a snow flurry. Nothing sticking this time, but it reminded me that it won't be long. It also reminded me of a couple of shots back in the archives. The top one is of my sister Linda and me, back in the mid-50's (which puts us about in our mid-60's), and the second is Peg Hardt and her brother. Oh to be young again and play in the first sticking snow. At our age now it's tempting to change one letter in that word, as we face another season of shoveling it... 'stinking snow':o(
Thinking also tonight of my favorite designated scooper, and how much she loved it:
Coming soon to a driveway near you
Have a good week :o)
