Joy Ziemnick, Jim and Sherlock sure do get around and lucky us, she always has her camera along to share their adventures with the Pasty Cam. This day they were out exploring in Ontonagon County. Those first two photos of Jim and Sherlock were on the trail to the O-Kun-De-Kun Falls. There are boards to walk on to keep from getting too wet and muddy, but Sherlock didn't care for walking on them, so Jim gave him a lift. Joy said once the boards ended, their walk there was ended too, as it became way to muddy to go on due to all the rain we had been having.
So they continued on their explorations and ended up near Rockland, at the Old Victoria Keweenaw Heritage site. The colors are just beautiful around this early mining village restoration and since the official guided tours ended in September, the Ziemnick crew pretty much had the place to themselves. Jim and Sherlock took a relaxing break on a picnic table nearby, while Joy did what she does best, snapping pictures around the grounds. The fall colors are very becoming at Old Victoria. I've only been there in the summer.
