Jeff Dennis has a game camera set up at his camp in the Traverse area, just so they can watch the critters that visit nearby. Today's photos are some of his most recent visitors that he captured on camera.
It's always fun to see the deer when you review your camera shots, but even more-so when you snag one of a fawn. I would consider it a triple bonus, though, to have captured Jeff's last shot here today. A doe and her two fawns, which look like they're grabbing a quick lunch with Mom.
We have a game camera set up, just like Jeff does, to watch all the animals that come by, always hoping for a good one. It's amazing to see all the different animals, both big and small that visit when you don't even know they're around.

The twins are the best! Game cams are very entertaining and educational!

Wish I would have had one of these when we lived in Red Jacket. I can only imagine what we would have recorded.....

Very nice! They look like they are selfie-posing for the camera. Serves as a reminder to be fully clothed when strolling through the woods...(UC?)

Awesome pictures of deer as always. I don't think there can be a bad picture of a deer. I saw a nice buck eating beans in the field by our house yesterday. Always an exciting siting.

What wonderful photos! When I lived on the big lake, just about anytime I looked out my windows, I'd see some wildlife...deer every day in the fall & winter. It was so amazing. Hardly needed a game cam - just look outside! Nice memories.
